"P&G Hong Kong has been actively participating in the 'Hong Kong Green Organization Certification' awarded by the Environmental Campaign Committee since 2008. This year, it was also honored with the 'Wastewi$e Certificate - Excellence Level' award, highlighting its outstanding performance in waste reduction and environmental management. The "Hong Kong Green Organization Certification" is co-organized by the Environmental Campaign Committee, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, and nine other organizations. It aims to set standards for green management, encourage organizations to implement environmental measures in various areas, and recognize their contributions and commitments.

The 'Zero Waste Movement' practices sustainability in daily operations

As a socially responsible company, P&G actively integrates green elements into its operations. Over the past year, the company has promoted participation among all employees through the "Zero Waste Campaign," incorporating sustainable practices into daily operations. The core goals include "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle," which involve initiatives such as reducing paper usage, establishing recycling stations in the office, and recycling various types of waste, including food containers, plastics, foamed plastics, aluminium cans, and rechargeable batteries. Through regular communication, P&G enhances employees' awareness of environmental protection, fosters behavioral change, and encourages every employee to become a leader of sustainable development.

In response to Hong Kong's policies, collaborates with retailers to promote the recycling of rechargeable batteries

P&G also collaborates with retailers to encourage consumers to participate in environmental actions. For example, in response to the Hong Kong government's rechargeable battery recycling policy, its brand Oral-B launched a rechargeable toothbrush battery recycling program, which received enthusiastic responses from consumers. In the future, P&G Hong Kong will continue to drive more sustainable living practices through brand innovation and sustainable operations, partnering with various sectors of society and consumers to create a better future together.
